has an enchanted look at the planet. When I was little, I traveled in stories of adventures, of explorers of distant horizons and cultures. At the age of 19, inspired by a traveling friend, he put his backpack on his back and “played for the

He traveled especially through Asia, a continent that awakens transforming experiences and experiences.

Nísia é educadora na Escola Vila Verde, de Alto Paraíso de Goiás. Licenciada em Pedagogia e Bacharel em Ciência da Educação. Tem formação em Biodanza com especialização na extensão e aplicação para crianças e adolescentes e formação em Sistema Biocêntrico para Organizações. Tem capacitação em Pintura Espontânea e Modelo de Ajuda.
In 1998, he started his path of looking, when he was invited to be part of Contrast, a Canadian agency created by autonomous photojournalists. The turn of the millennium marked his career, with the award of the prestigious World Press Photo. He recognized the power of photography in communication and his responsibility as a photographer. The following years were of important learning, traveling through the Himalayas and living with naga sadhus yogis, in India.
In Brazil, he developed work with traditional communities, such as Kalungas do Vai de Alma, in the state of Goiás, and with the Yawalapiti, indigenous people of the Upper Xingu. For some years he photographed for the campaigns of the department to fight against AIDS. traveled extensively
and documented the lives of people living with the disease in underserved communities in Brazil. He has photos published in several magazines and newspapers and held more than 50 individual exhibitions.

João Paulo Barbosa
João é um viajante desde seus primeiros anos de vida, quando aprendeu a usar o corpo para levar os olhos para passear. Tornou-se fotógrafo antes de possuir uma câmera. Por meio da música e da literatura, deu asas para sua imaginação. Incansável em sua busca de novas paisagens, encontrou sua própria geografia íntima.
Por meio de suas pesquisas históricas de culturas alheias, passou a admirar o mundo. Aprendeu a respeitar
a diversidade humana, com curiosidade, tolerância e acolhimento. Encontrou na contemplação e em sua paixão pela Natureza caminhos que o levaram a confirmar o rumo de sua vida.
Seu trabalho fotográfico é reconhecido internacionalmente por meio de publicações, exposições e premiações. Além de viajar e fotografar em vários lugares do mundo, há mais de uma década, documenta as mudanças climáticas e a presença humana na região antártica.

Atua na elaboração e realização de projetos educativos, culturais e ambientais desde 2004, contemplando especialmente estudantes da rede pública de ensino. Desde 2017, integra a equipe do Ashram Photo & Viagens, tendo realizado Vivências do Olhar na Índia, Nepal, Tailândia, Myanmar, Chile, Bolívia,
França e Brasil.

e estar no mundo. Conhecer pessoas e fazer imersões na natureza selvagem me emocionam muito. Me encanta as montanhas e a beleza do mundo. Gosto de contemplar o céu, observar o movimento das nuvens e viajar nas estrelas. Procuro colocar em prática o que aprendo e o que reconheço ser benéfico para mim e para os seres que compartilham da vida neste planeta. Sou grata por todo o caminho que me trouxe até aqui”.

We value MOTHER EARTH, which offers us physical, mental and spiritual well-being. We want, through cultural trips, to bring knowledge about people, their customs and the environment they inhabit. We believe that knowing the world is knowing yourself, in this way we are learning
to respect diversity, because we are mirrors of each other.

small groups
We chose to travel with small groups – between 4 and 7 people. In this way, we realize that it is possible to enjoy rich experiences, since each member has time and space to share their inspirations. A way to have, throughout the trip, exchanges of meaningful experiences, which we carry in our memory and in our hearts.
For us, traveling is a school of life that takes us to moments of reflection, which nourish the soul, expanding perspectives and horizons. An opportunity for internal development to become better beings, being part of the construction of a world of peace, respect and harmony.
We enjoyed the rich coexistence of a small group,
learning from each other.
